Steve Francis was born in 1954 in London. His interest in cars started at a young age when he was given a Scalextric set for Christmas (a hobby that continues to this day) and trips to the Brands Hatch Boxing Day meetings. An interest in art followed soon after.
He continued to study art until he left school to take up a position in a busy London Photographic studio and pursue another interest, playing drums. A career as a professional model maker followed and at this time Steve had more time to concentrate on his art. In 2002 he was accepted to the Guild of Motoring Artists and has submitted work for their various exhibitions. |
